It will be interesting to see the pictures of that 444 with 2+2 seating in first class, certainly I can see the appeal for it decreasing, especially at weekends.
Yes I have seen a couple of 450s like that. 555 is one, unrefurbished, with SWR internal branding.
And about time as well. The suburban maps in the 455s still advise a change at Richmond for North Woolwich, and at Waterloo for the Eurostar!I’ve noticed that the SWT route maps above the doors are starting to be removed as well.

There are still notices in some of the 458s giving details of the predecessors to London Travelwatch and Passenger Focus. And about time as well. The suburban maps in the 455s still advise a change at Waterloo for the Eurostar!
They are not available online, only for internal use for now. Both 450113 and 444040 are expected to enter service on Monday however so pictures will soon be all over the internet.
444 = 333/32F, was 299/35FDoes anyone happen to know what the before-and-after seat counts are on these latest refurbs? (444/450)

Thanks, interesting document. I notice that despite the more aggressive reduction in 1st in the 450 over the 444, there's not as much of an increase in standard. Looking at the table I'm assuming this is made up for by the larger increase in its standing room (+23 in 450 vs +2 in 444)?444 = 333/32F, was 299/35F

I reckon a high proportion of the total comes from the composite coach changes. Because the first class changes from 2+1 (12 rows) to 2+2 (8 rows) the bulkhead between the classes can be moved to the middle of the coach. I reckon that could give 12 (or even 16?) extra standard seats in that coach.34 more std seats in a 444 is more than I thought.
Guess quite a few of those must be from the buffet/office removal.
Have they fitted the promised inductive chargers into the tables in 1st I wonder?Having seen some pictures (not released to the public yet) of the composite coach, I have to say I'm a little underwhelmed to be honest. I'd have expected a little more of SWR & Siemens for the 444 that after a year in the works, Most of the traces of SWT would have been eliminated by now.
I'm guessing the lack of pictures means that they aren't out and about yet. If you work for SWR there should be some pictures displayed in one of the notice cases.
Oh, ok. I'll have a look later. Not much point in looking on 'the platform' as most of it doesn't seem to get updated anymore.

Guards were sent an email with high res pictures from Andrew Fairbanks, if your guard hasn’t already deleted the email maybe they could show you?
There is still just the 1 444 and 1 450 in the livery, and that 444 hasn't worked in nearly a year. There are more 158s and 159s in the new livery. Is the balance more in favour of the new livery now?
Or is there still a lot of SWT with SWR logos?

I don't get all the cloak and dagger routine myself. These refurbs were done for the travelling public after all, and they're going to see it soon enough anyway.
450 I presume?I'm currently sat on an unrefurbished with internal SWR signage.
Unusually it's substituting for a 458 working on the Reading line.
