Would anyone be able to to find out and enlighten me what it was and what it was doing? And am I correct in thinking the same loco(s) and stock worked this:

That confirms my thought that the second one was 66525 (I wasn't sure), the train had a big delay around the Rugby area so perhaps 66525 had a hissy fit there and a 2nd loco was popped on the front instead of changing it.

As a tip for future reference, if you look at the Service Code on RTT you can normally identify whose path it is (see screen grab on desktop version - can be found under "Show service information" link on mobile version)…

No worries.
Also clearly not always the case, but for the VSTP moves, the FOCs quite often like using appropriate headcodes - the assisting 66 from Donny to Barrow Hill ran as 0Z86...

At Barrow Hill still as far as I can tell - also appears to be still in the private owners pool (MBDL)
Had a run out from Barrow Hill to Derby and back on 15th November as part of a 37 shuffle around, but don't think it's been out since.

ok thanks mate for the info was hoping it might have been moved ahead of its “rumoured” hire in to a Colas although with the Colas 56’s finishing their RHTT workings they may have scrapped the plans to hire in 37418
