Never tried it and probably stretching the 10 minute limit but Longport for Vale Park?

I’d thought of that. But Google says much, much longer! You can walk it. You can do it in under 10 minutes. But you can’t do both. Going from Longport to Vale Park in 10 minutes involves a bus or taxi! Walking it takes at least 20 mins, even at a brisk pace.

Reading Green Park will be a very short walk from the “Mad Stad”: Madejski Stadium!
I was going to say that but I think it'll be more than 10 mins ,given that you've got to run through the car park before you get to Green Park.

Wimbledon FC's old ground at Plough Lane used to be about 5 mins from Haydons Road.

And their new ground at Plough Lane (on the site of the greyhound stadium, once completed) should be within 10 mins walk of the station.

I can definitely do Sheffield Midland to Bramall Lane in less than 10 minutes (provided I don't get distracted by the pubs along the way!).

We had a thread on this recently. There are loads. However the number is going down as teams move away from town centres to new stadiums.
When Middlesbrough moved in 1995 they moved closer to the centre. And I'm surprised it hasn't featured yet as a fit person walking briskly ought to be able to get there from the station in about 10 minutes, on a non-match day at least.

Sheffield United's Bramall Lane ground is around 10 minutes walk from Sheffield Midland Station, and in the days of the Woodhead Route, Football Specials would run to Wadsley Bridge, the station closest to Hillsborough, the home of Sheffield Wednesday.

it takes much longer than 10 minutes on a match day - which is surely the measure that counts ;)

Their new ground, Stadium MK, is about to 30 minutes walk from Fenny Stratford.
AFC Wimbledon's new ground could well be just about a 10 minute walk of the station.... AFC Wimbledon being a new club set up by disgruntled WFC supporters who didn’t want to follow the club from Croydon to MK.

MK Dons have renounced their claim to Wimbledon FC's history. To all intents and purposes, MK Dons is a new club, and AFC Wimbledon is seen as the original club's successor.

Despite Winkelman's strong words in 2004, his club later agreed to hold talks with the Football Supporters' Federation (FSF), the MK Dons Supporters Association and the WISA. The FSF was refusing to admit MK Dons supporters, discouraging friendly matches against MK Dons, and urging football fans generally to boycott MK Dons home games. The parties reached an agreement in October 2006. The FSF would end its calls for a boycott and admit MK supporters as members, and in return MK Dons would "recognise and genuinely regret the hurt which was caused to supporters of the former Wimbledon F.C. by the move to Milton Keynes", renounce any claim to Wimbledon F.C.'s history up to 2004 and transfer the Wimbledon F.C. trophy replicas, copyrights, web domain names and other patrimony to Merton Borough. All of this was done in August 2007. The Wimbledon F.C. trophies were put on display at Morden Library in Merton in April 2008.

If you use Pink Lane and the path near Chinatown/City Walls, you can do Newcastle station to the south west corner of St James Park in 10 mins

Clarence Park is about 5 mins from St.Albans City

If you walk the RIGHT way, yes!!!:oops::oops:

Last time I came out the station ok, but went the wrong way through the park!!

I came out the ground on the way back, went left over the rail bridge and then 2 left's brought me back to the station road!

Southend Utd. Roots Hall is a couple of minutes from Prittlewell and probably within 10 mins of Southend Vic.

The railway actually runs behind the main stand so as long as you are follow the line (North) you can't miss it. Although once it is dark they lock the park up and it adds a few more minutes onto the walk as you have to come out onto the Hatfield Road further down.

Horton Park (CP 1952) was on the opposite side of the road from Park Avenue (CF 1973). Probably only Manchester United Halt, Boothferry Park Halt and St James Park (Exeter) would have been closer to their respective grounds.

Cliftonhill Statium (Albion Rovers) is 12mins from Coatdyke Station according to Google but knowing the area I am positive you could do it in 10.

There's not much in it between it and Whifflet and Coatdyke - I've certainly walked to Whifflet from it in less than 10mins (down hill most of the way)

Fratton for Pompey
St James Park for Exeter City
Bescot for Walsall

Pedant alert!
Across the road from the Walsall ground, the station is now called Bescot Stadium, and has been for many years (as featured in the recent 'stations whose names have changed' thread!)

Two Highland league teams:
- Nairn County's ground is just a minute or two away from the station using the steps down from platform 2
- Forres Mechanics is on the opposite side of the bypass from the new station there

Rovers fan myself but i dont think the walk from Parson street to the (Ashton) gate can be much more than 10 minutes. Maybe slightly over.
