I'm just trying to book an Advance on the southbound Chieftain between Perth and King's Cross on 19 December, a couple of weeks after the Azumas start.
There appears to be nothing other than flexible tickets available and the prices are eye watering. It isn't a problem with LNER Advances generally, because you can get an Advance on the services starting out from Edinburgh that day, it's just the Inverness and Aberdeen trains that are restricted.
Does anyone know what's going on?
