91111 seems to have been dumped in Doncaster with a whole train. I heard from the platform wibblers that it had a "hot box"
If that is the world war vinyled one it was working the 09.45 off Leeds to London KX so can’t have been in West Yard.

There are two dedicated to the world wars, 91110 in Battle of Britain livery and 91111 (the failed one) in a remembrance livery. Here are photos of both (not mine, all credit to the photographers). If that is the world war vinyled one it was working the 09.45 off Leeds to London KX so can’t have been in West Yard.
Not officially, it's probably up there for an exam.Has 91132 been taken out of service now then
Probably just a set swap?A new shiny train instead of a 225 on today's 1300 Edinburgh-King's Cross today. At least the seat map on the LNER website indicated a 225. Are the withdrawals ahead of schedule?
Probably yes, nice surprise as I'd been wanting to give one a go in any case and I don't get the chance to go down the ECML as much as I used to!Probably just a set swap?
All's well that ends well!Probably yes, nice surprise as I'd been wanting to give one a go in any case and I don't get the chance to go down the ECML as much as I used to!
3 previous arrivals from Kings Cross ran significantly late, looks as if there were a few northbound trains delayed through Yorkshire during the morning.Probably yes, nice surprise as I'd been wanting to give one a go in any case and I don't get the chance to go down the ECML as much as I used to!
Yes no complaints here! All's well that ends well!
Cheers, sounds likely this was the cause.3 previous arrivals from Kings Cross ran significantly late, looks as if there were a few northbound trains delayed through Yorkshire during the morning.
It should be back out today...0615 Kings Cross to Edinburgh and 1430 return then 1930 Kings.Cross.to NewcastleDoes anyone know if 91116 is back in service today on the ECML after it's failure Sunday plse?
Thanks very much for that info re 91116. Appreciated. Managed a trip to Edinburgh with it today after an aborted trip on Sunday when it failed at Neville Hill.It should be back out today...0615 Kings Cross to Edinburgh and 1430 return then 1930 Kings.Cross.to Newcastle
Thanks from me as well as I was planning to do 1S31 (1900) off KGX so was able to wait for 1N32 (1930) which is confirmed as 91116, so it kept to the diagram. 91116 is my lowest mileage class 91 !It should be back out today...0615 Kings Cross to Edinburgh and 1430 return then 1930 Kings.Cross.to Newcastle

On way back through Newcastle saw 91124 which had failed with 90 minutes delay near Heaton working 1300 Edb-Kgx. Another failure which needs dragging to Bounds Green.
Can anyone help please? I understand there is a daily list available showing which Class 91 locos are working each day and the diagrams they are allocated to. This is shown on Facebook apparently but, how does one access the list once you are logged into Facebook?
Thanks very much but when I do that suggested group it always brings up Class 800 801 802 appreciation instead. Bizarre! Cant understand itiThe list is posted to the Facebook group called "Class 91 Appreciation & Photography society" so if you search for that group and then join it, you will be able to see the posts there daily.
Yes very strange! I know a lot of Class 91 fans (me included) would certainly not be joining an 800 appreciation group! Hope you've found the Class 91 group now but if not then you could Google search the name which is probably better than Facebook search. Thanks very much but when I do that suggested group it always brings up Class 800 801 802 appreciation instead. Definitely not interested in a Class 800 appreciation group, can't believe there is such a thing, or ever will be!!. Thanks for your help but having found the 91 appreciation society it wont let me join. I have only just set up a Facebook account so I think there must be a hitch within that somewhere. Thanks anyway to BOTH of you that responded with helpYes very strange! I know a lot of Class 91 fans (me included) would certainly not be joining an 800 appreciation group!
