Looks like someone has been told to hit that role description with the glamorous stick!

Is that actually a driving role? It’s not that clear from the advert. Salary seems lower than I would have expected if it is driving.

It will be ground shunter with an element of yard driving depending on location.

The description states the role responsibilities and outlines who you’ll likely be working with.

GB do/did have a clear line of promotion from groundstaff to driving, either directly or via the various ATM grades of local/yard/possession driving ATM grades.

Dont Let the advert fool you into thinking it’s all Hollywood, try coupling up, shunting or examining a load in deepest winter, raining with water dripping your neck.

It is a fantastic role, if I had my time again I’d certainly give it a go.
