Boreham Wood performed very well in their cup upset.
It certainly was since we have lots out due to injuries and Cov19. See who we get next in the draw later....The 4-1 win result for Leicester in such circumstances was good.

This elates me.FT: Nottingham Forest 1 - 0 Arsenal

Interestingly Welsh clubs like Connahs Quay Nomads, Llandudno, Prestatyn Town, Bala Town, Airbus UK etc with grounds failing UEFA standards have never been able to switch European games to the Deva stadium, presumably as it is in England. They have always had to play at Rhyl or Wrexham.Chester FC, whose Deva Stadium ground straddles the English/Welsh border, seem to be in a spot of bother with the Welsh authorities...

Chester FC: Probe into Covid rule break at Welsh ground
Chester FC hosted thousands of fans at two games, despite their ground being in Wales.www.bbc.co.uk
Could they not just alter the border a bit so that the ground is entirely in England? In return, Wales can have Knighton/Tref-y-clawdd Station!Interestingly Welsh clubs like Connahs Quay Nomads, Llandudno, Prestatyn Town, Bala Town, Airbus UK etc with grounds failing UEFA standards have never been able to switch European games to the Deva stadium, presumably as it is in England. Maybe Chester should take the proverbial Michael and hire TNS's ground near Oswestry (Shropshire) if no fans are allowed at the Deva. This is shared by TNS (League of Wales) and St Martins (NW Counties League), two clubs playing in different countries.
I thought that - do a land swap. How long would it take? I read somewhere that Chester FC matches are policed by Cheshire Constabulary even though the ground is in Wales. The most likely outcome is probably to get the match played elsewhere, or swap the home and away matches with whoever it is they're playing.Could they not just alter the border a bit so that the ground is entirely in England? This is the second home match in succession where the opposition decided all-out attacking is the policy to follow against Manchester United on their home turf.I'll take Utd's win tonight but I was underwhelmed by their style of play.

Indeed. An absolute disasterclass from our second choice keeper cost us on Saturday. We've not won an FA Cup game since December 2017, and you have to go back another season for the last time we progressed past the third round.DW Stadium continues to be Blackburns nightmare.
Twelve unsuccessful visits since their last away victory there in 2007.

Always a potential issue if the players you sign are likely to be selected for a mid season tournament.Watford have been destroyed by Afcon. Some of their key players have gone...
I think it is but there could be more.Always a potential issue if the players you sign are likely to be selected for a mid season tournament. Is it four Watford FC players away at AFCON (William Troost-Ekong, Adam Masina, Imran Louza and Ismaila Sarr)?
This is true, and is the general consensus amongst our fanbase. I do quite like a good cup run but it's an awkward distraction this season.Still, this now leaves your team to concentrate all their coming efforts on "the big picture", league-wise.
The same can be said for both Arsenal and for Newcastle United, for somewhat differing reasons.
Championship
Reading 0 ... Fulham 7
That's what you call an emphatic away win.
Not been a good week so far for Reading and their manager Veljko Paunović. Didn't they also get beat 2-1 by Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Cup at the weekend?
Bought his watch from Arthur Daley, perhaps? Why did the ref end the match early?
Unfortunately as TNS play in the League of Wales they have already been forced to close their ground as they have to follow Welsh Guidance.
