Anglia Railways.Are you on west?
Congratulations!Applied for Liverpool Street mainline driver over the weekend, got an email inviting for online test/assement today via a url link.
Anyone else heard anything?
Oh no! These applications are removed so quick. Unfortunately I have also been unable to apply for so many previous posts. Head up, I'm sure more will be dropping soon!!They closed the liverpool st advert now, a friend of mine didn’t finish his application and his application disappeared
It's always worth checking the link in the few days after the original post. Ice noticed a few reopen a day or two after they close. I missed the LNER one first time round, 2 days later it was back up
Was it only SJT?I did the SJT last night. Very straightforward
Situational Judgment TestYes just SJT so far
Your correct....These jobs are for a talent pool so they can pick off applications when needed. Most depots have their quota of drivers, so the add is miss leading in some respect.I'm pretty sure these vacancies are just to refill the now expired talent pool. GA have recently cut alot of services and a friend said a lot of depots are massively over staffed.
£30945Does anyone know what the salary is for a qualified depot driver with Greater Anglia - Ilford?
I thought that was the training salary, what's the salary after you've qualified?£30945
On the great eastern the training wage is same for mainline and depot. £29998.I thought that was the training salary, what's the salary after you've qualified?
Ok, cool, thanks. So for trainee mainline drivers you'd be on the trainee wage to start with and once passed and qualified it would go up to 52-54k?Once you become a qualified driver (mainline) you remain on a qualified salary for one year which falls somewhere between the advertised salary (which is actually the training salary) and the full whack which is approx 52-54k depending on where you go (so somwhere in the 40s) None of the depots have the same T&Cs and salaries. GA is made up of ex West Angla, Great Eastern and Anglia contracts which all have their own seperate set of working practices/salaries T&Cs.
Depot drivers remain depot drivers. The progression to mainline used to be a given but they’ve tried to split the role completely now.
Hi mate.Ok, cool, thanks. So for trainee mainline drivers you'd be on the trainee wage to start with and once passed and qualified it would go up to 52-54k?
What's it like at Ipswich? I live right between the 3 so all are within a reasonable distance for me
