Hopefully there won't be a total destruction order on them. Booths are usually happy to sell parts on... not that those 3 locos actually have much left on them in the first place!
I don’t think they will last long as the price of scrap metal is the highest it’s been for a long while.

I have noticed quite a few 91's at Leeds recently. Have they gone onto more services?

PS hope to get a 91 from KGX tomorrow. Should be on the 1530.

At the moment they seem to only fulfil 4 of the 5 diagrams they should be on with the other 1 being an azuma, hopefully they can get it back up to 5.

5 allocated each night, then due to faults, they lose 1 or 2 sets.
1A09 diagram tomorrow is already scheduled to be an Azuma vice MK4

Yeah reliability not fantastic at the momement, it seems with the some of the stuff ive seen on the 225 group that a lot of the faults are on the dvt/mk4 sets themselves rather than the locos or is it a mix of both?

Correct, DVTs causing a lot of issues.
Loco 114 has a cab heating fault which is why that’s getting swapped.

12415 seen on lowloader south on M42 on Thursday March 10. Can anyone confirm if this was Newport bound for Sims?
Believed to have gone to the fire training centre at Moreton in Marsh along with two other vehicles, probably Mk.4s but possibly 321s.

Thank you Defiance149 - I had heard that three vehicles moved to Moreton - either Mk4s or 321s. Hopefully we might yet get some more info.

I've seen it reported that 91104 was taken (by road, obviously) from Doncaster Wabtec today. Destination suggested as Booths at Rotherham.

Can anyone confirm this?

Can't confirm if it's gone to Booths or elsewhere, but can confirm it's gone for scrap. 91103 and 91108 both expected to follow imminently.

Edit: can confirm Booths as the destination

91124 on its way back from Wabtec to Neville Hill now as 0Z91, presumably after its G exam.

I thought 19 and 24 were due off lease first. I suppose that was when there were only seven sets on lease, rather than eight with rumours of a ninth. (Although those rumours seem to have dried up lately.)

The 9th set now won’t be arriving. Some of the vehicles that should have formed it went to Newport for scrap a few weeks ago.

Got one x loco and 2x Mk4 coaches (with no barriers which makes it a bit unusual) running from Worksop to York NRM on Monday - via Maltby - due at the NRM around 1140.

Do you know what the purpose is? longer-term preservation or an event?

Not 100% sure but believe they're to be preserved. Lack of barrier vehicles in the consist means at least one of the two vehicles will be either a TSOE (coach B) or a DVT, possible that it may be both.

My father who is currently on 1A28 1145 Leeds to London Kings Cross, pushed by 91109 has informed me that one of the windows in his carriage might have broken and the train can go no further.

This set was summoned from Neville Hill after the inbound train from London was cancelled and it had already arrived into Doncaster 6 minutes late after someone pulled the emergency brake just north of Doncaster.

EDIT: It will terminate at Doncaster due to a problem with the brakes.

Terminated at Doncaster due to a passenger smashing the emergency windows in one carriage, after reports of smoke.

Monday 28th march 2022. www.realtimetrains.co.uk and the live rail websites respectively are showing a move 0923 Worksop up receptions to York N.R.M. Which is most likely to be the mk4 coaches going into preservation as mentioned elsewhere on this thread. With rail operations group doing the honours.

The emergency stop was caused by the customer pulling the communication alarm, after reportedly seeing smoke.
So let me get this straight, a passenger thought he saw some smoke, panicked, pulled the passcom, then panicked some more and broke the emergency window. Sounds like that passenger shouldn't be allowed out of his own house.

If you see smoke on a train pulling the passcom isn’t an unreasonable course of action, I’m sure you’d agree that had the smoke been linked to a fire it would have been better for the train to stop than to carry on whilst on fire.

Smashing the emergency window however I’ll agree was completely the wrong course of action.
