Are they just concentrating on the 11 car sets at the moment?
Yes, the 35 11-car trains will be refurbished first followed by the 21 9-car trains. One vehicle in the 11-car train is converted from First to Standard hence the priority for completing these before the 9-cars.Are they just concentrating on the 11 car sets at the moment?
What do they want training on? How to explain to passengers about the new seats and plugs?Avanti staff are refusing to work the refurbished sets due to having no training on them
There was something on this thread about this, something about TM management working them. That’s interesting it’s running. Avanti staff are refusing to work the refurbished sets due to having no training on them
The only thing that has really changed is the shop. We have speculated on this thread that it is microwave oven training! What do they want training on? How to explain to passengers about the new seats and plugs?

If they’re refusing to do their job it begs the question why they’re in that job. That’s interesting it’s running. Avanti staff are refusing to work the refurbished sets due to having no training on them
If safety equipment has been relocated its will be a requirement under traction training to know where it is now locatedFFS, do they need a script to describe the new colour of the seats?
RTT shows 390138 on the 0737 GLC-EUS, presumably a data input error?390 123 is out and running today it’s formed the 7:37 Glasgow to London and will then form the 14:07 Euston to lime street
Yeah that’s the one I meant. There’s no sign of 390 125 from what I’ve checked so it must still be in longsightRTT shows 390138 on the 0737 GLC-EUS, presumably a data input error?
Or should it be the 0836 GLC-EUS, which RTT does show 123 on?
Thanks, not the first time RTT has had the wrong data producing erroneous displayed allocations.Yeah that’s the one I meant. There’s no sign of 390 125 from what I’ve checked so it must still be in longsight
Wow that is a lot of miles in just 1 dayYeah it's on the 8.36 today, goes Liverpool afterwards and then the 19.40 Euston to Manchester
That’s a pretty standard mileage for a full day 390 diagram!Wow that is a lot of miles in just 1 day
Significantly smaller. It’s more like a mini deli counter now so you can’t even pick your own items and have to tell the person behind the counter what you’d like from the display.Other question, with the removal of the large fridges in the on-board shop, has this resulted in an overall reduction in the amount of fridge and chilling capacity on board or are the new fridges just as large

Unless they have additional 'hidden' fridge storage now somehow?Presumably to reduce theft, but it would also mean less stock.
Oxley according to RTT and me, I could be wrong though. That’s a pretty standard mileage for a full day 390 diagram!
Anyone know where 125 is today?
I’ve always wondered how many people thieve from the (old) shop!Presumably to reduce theft, but it would also mean less stock.
Just checked and it's showing as "At Oxley Car. M.D. Status N / SERVICEABLE Arr 0014 on 07/05"Oxley according to RTT and me, I could be wrong though.
9G47 (https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:C75762/2022-05-06/detailed#allox_id=0) was the last working I could find on 6 May, but there may have been more recent workings I overlooked.
Note that Some guy suggested Logsight.
All those mini bags of Haribo stack up!I’ve always wondered how many people thieve from the (old) shop!
I’d imagine it is slightly difficult, as all journeys I was on there was always a catering host in the immediate vicinity, whether it be sitting down or on the counter.I’ve always wondered how many people thieve from the (old) shop!
But when it’s moderately busy they can’t see what‘s going on.I’d imagine it is slightly difficult, as all journeys I was on there was always a catering host in the immediate vicinity, whether it be sitting down or on the counter.
When your attempt to order a bacon buttie before Edge Hill (on a morning departure from Lime St.), fails because "they've already sold out", that beggars belief!Presumably to reduce theft, but it would also mean less stock.
