They may be old and scruffy but those three don't do badly!
Two of them seem more reliable than the other one, it’s a shame they haven’t been joined by open sided 53503.

I'm all for old and scruffy, personally. They may be old and scruffy but those three don't do badly!
53826 is a well worked machine - hate to think how many times that has run to Mousehole! They're a bit faded (the pink hasn't worn well) but didn't think 53826 or 53704 were too bad when I travelled on them, given their age, though they do probably need putting out to pasture. They may be old and scruffy but those three don't do badly!
It was parked in Penzance depot on Saturday when I popped in to get my Levante some dieselTwo of them seem more reliable than the other one, it’s a shame they haven’t been joined by open sided 53503.
Is there a particular reason why it has not been used yet? The weather would appear to be ideal, including in the forecast. My Mousehole friend is getting suspicious that I was winding her up bigtime in mentioning it a few times over the last weeks. I'm even beginning to think myself that an elaborate hoax is being spun, and I'm not the credulous sort! Bring it on!It was parked in Penzance depot on Saturday when I popped in to get my Levante some diesel

All three Mousehole liveried Solos are in service this morning on the Mousehole service!
It has been on the Cornwall fleet since last year, it is just on loan to Somerset as they are a few open tops short.
37388 and 37396 arrived Wednesday evening, although 37388 has had problems already, being unable to move from its current position due to electrical gremlins apparently
The dedicated Falmouth Coaster bus was in Camborne on Saturday, I am not sure if it has returned to Falmouth or is still at Camborne. The Falmouth coaster seemed to be a Solo today
That looks great! Glad the vinyl man is back and functioning.Marc Morgan Huws has tweeted a photo of 33473 now wearing Coast to Coast branding. Another 2 are being reported to be done this week.
I believe Marc commented elsewhere that the vinyl man was recovering from a hospital operation.Yes.

Also noticed a few green MMCs regularly on the Tinner services. One in this colour scheme in Camborne.
I have just seen 33473 on the T1.
How bad is the damage and was everyone ok?

Marc Morgan Huws commented on Twitter earlier this week it is going to Minehead.53503 has gone from the First Kernow vehicle listing in bustimes for what it’s worth.
Bonkers is the best compliment I’ve had! It’s off up to Minehead to join our Exmoor extravaganza of open air decks and open tops. Let me know if you want to visit.
On the same Twitter thread there’s a comment “we’ve got a new small fleet for Mousehole In order” which doesn’t seem to have been picked up here.Wasn’t aware of that. Hopefully it will be a popular addition to the Somerset fleet.’
Excellent news. A few weeks ago @OntheBuses mentioned that they "hoped" to source replacements. Seems now they've actually been ordered. On the same Twitter thread there’s a comment “we’ve got a new small fleet for Mousehole In order” which doesn’t seem to have been picked up here.

There's nothing other than Sprinter-type vehicles that would fit.I wonder what vehicle types have been ordered for the route. I guess there aren’t many choices available that are suitable.

It's been stated previously that the Solo SR doesn't fit and in any case Optare have now stopped making diesel buses.
Perhaps. OTS and Travel Cornwall also have a variety of different types of van-derived buses for TfC services.Llew Jones of North Wales have a small fleet of Sprinter type mini-buses, perhaps something like these?

Interesting thread that's making me want to plan a trip to Cornwall.
