Ok I might be wrong then? What test have you had more than 2 attempts at?

They'll fit right in at most depot messrooms. The number of people on here claiming to know the rules and making them up is actually hilarious
Same happened with me and then tried to log back again to check.Did mine today not much prep can be done really, better off just going for it in peace and quiet.
Has anyone had a confirmation email after finishing it?
I clicked submit and it seemed to just kick you out to the original sign in screen just worried now haha
Thanks for the reply yea I know I stupidly put agree instead of strongly agree to an obvious one!!! The joys of having to sneakily try get it done at workSame happened with me and then tried to log back again to check.
Then it came up with you have no tests waiting so it looks like they ckear once completed.
So wouldn't worry ....
Best of luck anyway
I'm going to get mine done on Monday when I know I have quiet. Best of luck.Did mine today not much prep can be done really, better off just going for it in peace and quiet.
I answered a fair few of mine with agree, take it that's a bad move then ????Thanks for the reply yea I know I stupidly put agree instead of strongly agree to an obvious one!!! The joys of having to sneakily try get it done at work
Not a clue matey.I answered a fair few of mine with agree, take it that's a bad move then ????
I am sure 9 out of 10 here including me are as clueless as youHi Guys, new here - thanks for all the info, applied for polmadie , having a go at the assessments today.. does anyone have any idea of the numbers they are taking on per depot as such?
Some of the questions do require a Strongly Agree/Disagree but not all of them doI answered a fair few of mine with agree, take it that's a bad move then ????
Ye I know for a fact one of them I should have put strongly for but I was trying to get it done whilst at work and don’t want anyone knowing! Lord help me.Some of the questions do require a Strongly Agree/Disagree but not all of them do
It's definitely part of the sift, could be some sort of personality test so in a way there is a right or wrong answer they have set beforehand.Ye I know for a fact one of them I should have put strongly for but I was trying to get it done whilst at work and don’t want anyone knowing! Lord help me.
I wonder if that’s scored on points or literally right or wrong
I have that rarest of 'perfect storms' that is an empty house tomorrow, with all 4 of my family either at school or away for a gig. This means two things, firstly, there is no chance of any disturbance so I can do the tests without that worry. Secondly (as we are a beef free household) I'm getting me a fat, juicy, juicy steak for dinner.
Don't hate me.
i mean we would all know if we've not been successful if other people from same depot start receiving things when u havent
Well let's see what happens .....friend of mine in a HR role says sometimes a strongly agree can can show a lack of flexibility, ie its that way or nothing .....but we're all clutching at straws here ....plenty of if's,buts, and maybe's do we'll just have to wait. Some of the questions do require a Strongly Agree/Disagree but not all of them do
Thank you. Like a few others. This is all new to me. So thats great to know. Just been practising the test on the ocp site. But was starting to worry as none really related to the 5 ones on the assessmentYeah - they're not really something you can prepare for. SJT is simply a paragraph about a train driver related scenario and you have to put in order from 1-4 what you would most likely do to least likely. The other tests are multiple choice asking about what skills you think are most or least important for a trainee driver and a few question about yourself and you rate Strongly agree down to strongly disagree. None are timed but 60 minutes of inactivity and it will log you out.
I completed a few tests then logged out and returned later and competed the rest. However, each individual test has to be completed when you start it.

From the Avanti chatbot they had on Facebook they quoted £39,000 starting, once qualified £57,000 and then after two more years £67,000. Could change really with on-going union disputes...
Someone in this forum mentioned about VISUAL SEARCH EXERCISE and MAGNIFICENT SEVEN SITUATION JUDGEMENT TEST. Can you practice these anywhere?
Hi, at what point is Cables and Dials with Avanti? I cant find anything that refers to that test... or is during actual training if you pass etcYour welcome, as far as my memory serves me, the only time maths might be relevant is the Cables and Dials test that you sit later on in the process, but i wouldnt worry about if your maths isnt up to scratch. Its quite basic, you just need to be able to cope with your anxieties, have complete concentration and make almost zero mistakes
Ok thank youNot really, SJT is just more multiple choice questions and the VSE tests your natural abilities to react, multitask and process information
The dials test is done at the in-person paper assessments, usually in Crewe.Hi, at what point is Cables and Dials with Avanti? I cant find anything that refers to that test... or is during actual training if you pass etc
