no he said it gets marked twice and he'll be done by Friday but then have to send it to tpe, so its 2+ weeks to find out the results for the paper tests. if passed we move on to computer tests, get invited etc.
Ah I see but no one got sent home after each test? That's a pretty good thing for people unlike some other testing where you can be sent home after a specfic test not meeting standard.

How did it go Feaksta?
I think it went mostly ok TRP part 1 was waaaaay easier than expected I’m confident with GB and part 2 of TRP unsure about the beeps and phone book one, I did good on just circling the things but not to confident about the beeps (way faster than expected) and the beeps while circling, have you done it yet?

salam my friend, can i ask if your looking for a train driver vacancy? As i am too and need some help ?
salaam,
u should make a new thread to ask and do some research on it by reading past threads or job descriptions. as ur in sutton TPE would be a bit far. id suggest looking for ToCs (companies) closer to u. like the london underground, Avanti, lner, south eastern, southern or gwr. when u apply u have to do tests to see if the job is right for u.

these jobs are quite popular and can take some time. the people on here are quite nice but some not so much but dont be afraid to ask lots of questions (on new threads for different topics). if not dm me.

ahh good luck, i feel like for me i messed up on the dials one, when i flipped the page over i started marking the next row on the answer sheet so i had to go back, rub it out and check it so i ended up doing like 23. i found the phone book easier than i thought.
oh yeah there was some song noise coming from the corridor aswell, thought it was part of the test till someone mentioned it when we were leaving.

That’s a shame.

If there was any distraction noises I would have pointed it out to the person conducting the test.

When did i the computer tests, namely the concentration one there was only 2 of us left at that point.

I was seated facing the examiner who was doing paperwork and moving about, I could see their movements above the screen so I asked to move.

It was a faff because they had to move all the equipment for me but I didn’t want anything distracting me on the 30min concentration test.

If the dials is the one with 40 odd , I only did 23 as well and I passed to enhanced.

i mean everyone were sayin thats they did 35- 40. but thats some good odds icl. accuracy beats speed ig.

That’s a shame.

good luck everyone, just booked mine too. im super duper worried about the SJE and MMI.
People overthink for the MMI, so long as you follow the STAR method and have a good selection of examples to use for occassions you have followed rules, acted under pressure, handled an emergency or something similar or comparible, you'll be fine!

I passed all my physcometrics back in January with another TOC but failed at the CBI. I've now been invited to do the MMI in Leeds with TPE!

Best of luck to everyone else!

wow that just added to the pressure. interviews arent my thing :(.
Stay calm, make sure you add a good amount of detail to your answers, and remember to use the S.T.A.R Method. If you've not already searched around this forum with what to expect, then I'd recommend doing so.

You'll be great :)

Yeah, got an email yesterday, and I fluffed it. Didn’t feel great coming out of it, so I suspect if you’ve not heard anything then no news is good news

Sorry to hear this, when did you sit yours? I was only in yesterday but just wanted to try and gauge the average waiting time! All the best for your future applications!
