47016 back on the road today with a new windscreen after it's collision.
Quite easy to understand what he is saying. He is pointing out that you would not like a E300 but would like a Coach when there is not a great deal difference capacity wise. Neither are suitable, if they had any sense 16124 should be used! If it doesn't do the actual shuttle service.
But there was no need what so ever for that attitude at the end of the post! Other members post i'm on about, the other member made it sound like a little kid speaking! "makes sense eh NOT"
Haha! "makes sense eh NOT"
What do they teach people at school these days as that obviously does not make sense!
Go back to jar's post from before and you'll find out what he said at the end. Everyone here has good punctuation.
Andrew, the amount of crap you put on here is a waste of time, everyday Allocations, allocations , allocations you give everybody a headache!
We know full well Gez, wouldn't want you losing your job for a careless whisper now, would we?I know some of you think I am cryptic, but for good reasons
That will be the 10 B10L/Wright Liberators from MerseysideSo here is what I can let out at the moment
27 buses are in for the open day at the moment
we are getting ten B10 / Wrights from Les
Preston you say? All I can think of there is to replace the Scania Esteems and/or some Darts, there haven't been any route variations/registrations from them....Mr B notes nine MANs are going to Glasgow, some are but not all, some are also going to Preston.
Blimey, must be something special!Kendal MANs "TOP SECRET" all will be clear in a few weeks
Have you misread it the thread is called SCNW fleet changes.

Anything to do with the walks from bus routes that KL started promoting at the start of the season? Branching out into bikes too?
leeds11 - completely agree with you mate :P I seem to mainly get ignored round here, so it's nice to see someone else saying the same thing...

Indeed, nowhere are route allocations mentioned. I dunno about anyone else, but to me "fleet changes" implies vehicles in/out, changes in PVR etc... not the usual everyday stuff, there's no change in that!
Because you're the person who has the most numerous and lengthly posts about allocations...
I want 52628 on the night 22:45 300 from Carlisle tommorow that would be awsome!
There's nothing wrong with that! "lurking" (viewing without posting is a very accepted part of forum culture).I have nothing good to say
1) Little chance as standees are not permitted on coaches.
2) AFAIK Stagecoach did not put themselves in the frame for Whitehaven Festival.
3) F805FAO currently at LL, presumably for a pre' open day spruce-up.

Although, you should try and get involved with our discussions about vehicles.
eg. At the moment, I can't come up with any real reason for Morecambe MANs to go to Preston. You give it some thought and you will probably come up with an answer that's sensible!
I'll try and return this thread to some sanity; when did the legal address of CMS change from Tangier street, Whitehaven to Carlisle, and likewise, when did that of Ribble move from Frenchwood Avenue, Preston, to carlisle?

Would have thought it would be by mid-late 90's when the Cumberland ones changed to Carlisle. The Whitehaven offices will have been closed with the closure of Whitehaven Bus Station, but the registered office may have changed before then.
Looking forward to seeing that again! I missed it on Lakes routes over summer. Only caught a poor light picture of it in Lancaster Bus Station in June.
HA! I've been away for a few hours and come back this, it's hilarious.
I would say Andrew that it is unfair you get the lions share of the blame. We all post allocations from time to time the argument is based around how many and what is relevant. I'll be honest I used to post everything I saw, but now I know people aren't interested in normal allocations. If I posted every allocation I saw everyday in Lancaster I imagine you wouldn't find it interesting at all, right?
I think this forum is for everyone, what I love about it is it's not like every other forum where a load of member's all compete to be the number one 'know it all' but on here we all share information and thrash out theories.
BUT this forum is not entitled 'Stagecoach Northwest Allocations' so on this point I agree with Mbonwick.
The post's this evening although they have been funny have been off topic, pathetic and something you would expect to hear in a playground. I don't log in to see what the days allocations were in Cumbria, I don't log in to see comments where people are arguing over the most pointless comments. I log in to see comments made by people like Gez where we have food for thought on what's coming into our region and what's going out and what this means for the future of our local fleet.
It would be a real shame to see this community collapse.
PS: Didn't realise this forum was so popular! Go team!
And that gents, is why Josh (Dallamlad) is a politician and I am an engineer....
Think he summed everything up perfectly there!
Some great analysis you've done there!
TBH, I'm surprised this thread has done so well, being on a rail forum and all...
Are there any service buses that run close to the airport at carlisle on sundays? My train ticket from whitehaven to carlisle is not far off half the price of the city centre shuttle!
