Gosh, is no-one around?

Thank you for managing that at such short notice Paul :)

I'll provide you with another one, seen as no-one seems to be bothering at present. And I intend to make this one a right pain! :D

I've said this about Irish claims, but how can a station "look" Scottish?

EDIT: 4,000th Post!!!!! :D But MattE beat me to it by 65 hours and 37 minutes...

The type of stone used in station construction was often locally sourced and hence quite telling of the stations' location. Styles of platform decoration are also often relevant to a particular geographical area.

Having said that, I'm going to go with an English guess. Wylam?

A decent explanation! That's not to say it is Scottish [it may be obviously, but I shan't say yet], but the explanation is pretty good!

Not Wylam.

Not Kirkby Stephen. I will admit that everyone has been right in that this station is in northern England or southern Scotland (definition: north of or including M62 corridor; south of or including M8 corridor) so far.

Not correct. I'm getting fed up with Guess the Train being #1 at the minute; I put one up in both but this has been left behind! There's been a whole new round there since I put mine up, whereas this has had about five guesses...

Annan has already been ;)

As for the others, no and no. I like how my entries are (a) better and (b) mr fequent since my trip! It shows that having now been up north in a photting capacity I am more confident and able at this! :D

OK; another clue. It would take an extreme set of circumstances for anything capable of 125 to come here. That rules out stations via Gretna and Kilmarnock, because said route is a common diversion during engineering works.
