Needless to say, bunching-up of buses was bound to occur more frequently once the frequency was increased as buses get closer to each other when for whatever reason the timetable is thrown out of kilter. (It seldom happens on Arriva's 127 nowadays now that it's less frequent than the Skylink, although funnily enough I spotted two running quite closely towards Shepshed yesterday evening.)Is there any particular reason why Skylink Derby has difficulty running to the advertised timetable? I walked from Derby Station into town this evening (Sat) at 7.30 pm and two Skylinks passed me on Siddals Road, no more than a minute apart.
Assuming they aren't running extra journeys, it must be very annoying for anyone expecting a 15 minute frequency to have two running together followed by a 30 minute gap!
I've noticed it happen quite a lot recently.
