Needless to say, bunching-up of buses was bound to occur more frequently once the frequency was increased as buses get closer to each other when for whatever reason the timetable is thrown out of kilter. (It seldom happens on Arriva's 127 nowadays now that it's less frequent than the Skylink, although funnily enough I spotted two running quite closely towards Shepshed yesterday evening.)
I noticed something Notts and Derby branded attached to the stops near the hospital the other day.

Stops on Station Road at the Methodist Church and end of East Avenue - now that I'm looking out for them also on the 2 stops on Uttoxeter Road at the end of Corden Avenue and Chain lane. At a guess, a bus going straight down Uttoxeter Road to the Tesco island, then straight down Station Road.
Taken in high zoom from a bus heading the other way - the wording is actually "new service coming to this stop soon"
But it isn't.
They will be very interesting routes, that I feel could grow into more such routes. Won't be long before they start ..

First thought with the Link 1 and Link 2 route numbers is a circular. Maybe Derby - Hospital - Mickleover - Mackworth - Derby
There is a presumption there that both serve the same area.
Maybe someone should follow them and see what sort of route it'll take!
