Marylebone! Hoping that I can get the DMI in soon as a nice Christmas present, especially as my current TOC has a theee-month notice period. Painful…

This may sound obvious but try not to f*** the DMI up. You’d be amazed how many people turn up woefully unprepared.

So you're aiming for April course as you'll miss the February one?

And I echo the other comment, DMI may sound like the easiest of the lot but I've heard and seen a few fail from being unprepared.

Ahaha, yeah the DMI is definitely not as tough as the MMI from my personal experience, I definitely felt more nervous at MMI stage, but the DMI is not to be under-estimated. I've had more than one experiences of DMIs; one with Heathrow Express a few years ago, which I did mess up... however I've since had a successful experience with another TOC. I won't go into too much detail on what's happened since, however I'm hoping that I don't mess this one up! I'm doing research and prep work already. :D

The April course would be ideal, I'm unlikely to make the February course, but my notice is technically negotiable. I've heard of other people leaving my current TOC with very much less notice than contractual!

Had an email today.

I’ve passed the VSE but there’s no availability for testing before Xmas, they’re waiting for confirmation from the OPC for dates for January.

Birmingham applicant.

I have received an email , stating the assessments dates will be sent in January. Can someone who has done this please tell me what tests will be given . I would highly appreciate it

Log in to the Chiltern website and check the stage it says for your application. A few people's stages have gone from VSE to 1.7 OPC Stage 1 or 1.9 OPC Stage 2. Seems like the people at 1.9 OPC Stage 2 are the only ones who have heard back on completing the VSE.
I got an email stating I have passed (shocked and happy at the same time as I did make mistakes) they will roll out test dates in January

If you've passed the VSE you're onto the standard set of OPC suite of tests. I can't remember if the DFFT is a part of Chiltern tests.

You'll also receive a pack that includes what to expect on the day, a list of the tests and practice examples.

Use them to practice, the only one not available is Group Bourdon as it's different but if you use the search tool on this forum you'll find information on it.

There are many posts on this forum detailing the OPC tests and what they entail. I would recommend you take some time to scroll through to find out as much as you can.

Has anyone heard back from recruitment yet regarding Aylesbury?
Yes, had an email a few days ago to apologies for the delay and they would be in contact again in the next few weeks.

Something to do with a change in course numbers.

Anyone else on here got a start date for Marylebone in Feb? Trying to see if I can find anyone who’s going to be on the same course as me

I'm waiting in DMI date. Tempted to send in an email to say 'hey, still very much interested, just checking in!' ha... I won't make the February course, I hope you have a blast! Do the studying, keep updated, use the tools available to you, and socialise with the rest of the class! Keep us updated on how you get on!

Yeah got the same email

I'm really sorry to hear that, both. :( It's really frustrating.

All I got was an email saying passed VSE and they are arranging OPC dates. I emailed them saying I’ve already completed them with a different company but never got a reply.

It's usually email when they invite you to the assessment date.
