It's been a while since I've had anything to do with BVE but recent events have made me step in for a bit...

After consulting a few relevant people, I am pleased to announce that a few of the downloads from the old BVE Routes and trains website (BRT) are now available on an archive site https://sites.google.com/site/londonundergroundbve/.

The download includes my own routes which I have written in the past (Jubilee Line, Central Line Ongar branch and the Piccadlly Line Aldwych branch) as well as other routes from other developers who once had their downloads hosted on BRT.

I should emphasize that this site is purely for archival purposes only and is provided on a voluntary and goodwill bases. E-mails will be answered but support for route files may be limited and is provided as is with no warrantee.

Steve Thomas has most of the UK mainline trains which BRT once hosted and is available on this site at https://sites.google.com/a/bve4trains.com/bve-4-trains/

Myself and other ex-BRT residents would like to say thank you for your continued support over the past years.

And just when you think it is all going downhill

There are some people who are mature enough to do such a thing, well done. Thank you for this and to all involved.

I too would like to thank people for their support and feedback over the last five years. It was a great shame that the site had to close and I didn't take the decision easily.

It was a pleasure to see the site grow from just me doing the developing to several talented authors becoming part of it - all of whom were always a pleasure to work with.

Apologies to those who appreciated BRT for what it was. There is an email doing the rounds that I sent to Dan with my full reasoning behind the closure; please don't make any assumptions about those reasons before reading it!

Cheers,
Rich
