35246 had a stint on Harrington and Seaton after 47024 was pulled off for about an hour and was put back on after it went up to the depot and back.
35246 then went back onto the short 302 after 34218 had a few runs, but began to run behind schedule.
35249 was also replaced by 47006 by dinner time on the 51.

Why is it cheaper to get to morecambe on the train then the bus from lancaster?
£4.10 return on the bus(for 2 £8.20)

the railways are subsidised by the tax payer, the commercial bus services aren't
Always has been, always thought it was comon knowledge, Bare lane will be the same, pays your money takes your choice

34703 is out on the 76 with it's Carlisle United vinyl wrap at the rear.
16397 is on the short 685 with 20960 on the full run. 20908 on this yesterday.

Lillyhall seem to be in the process of updating their displays, again.
"Moorclose Circular" now appears back on one line on LED displays, but different from last times attempt with the route being displayed the same size as the route number, instead of smaller:
47059 with the latest one line display format
The X4/X5 also looks to be getting some display changes as 20913 came in on the X4 ready to go out again, but rwithout scrolling connection details on the LED and just displayed Keswick on the top line then with "For service X50 to Penrith" or something along them lines(!) on the second line - this is also in a rather unconvincing style font!
Unfortunately 20913 was replaced so a photo opportunity was missed!. The Profiles X4/X5-X50 and Scania's 300-302 connection retain the old style LED format, for now.

Also Chorley had a B10M on the X61 this afternoon. I don't know which one it was but I noted it heading out of Preston, towards Chorley, at around 16:20.

20905 is now in service at Kendal.
20913 replaced 53337 on the 1315 X5, at this rate they might as well brand it for the service!

15686's front bumper has been repainted, and was driving around in service today still with masking tape around the reg plate. Wouldn't it have just been easier to take the reg plate off to repaint it.......?

I'm sure you have a kinky fetish for blind displays!!! I personally do not think it is as bad as you are making it out to be!
Not bad having them all on one line, makes the actual text bigger than when its on 2 lines. The connect ones would be better with a little bit of blank space between the "Maryport" and "for 300 to Carlisle", looks like an LED version of the old Bright Tech's with their random dots everywhere.
Would be nice if North West could have a standard, clear layout throughout the region, just like Manchester and North East. Gives you enough information about the route without making them look cluttered up. I still think Carlisle's layout is the most clear.

Carlisle due to become like Newcastle with scrolling shortly. On a few routes at least.
