    I can see the government stumping up for the bare minimum of trains and I won't be surprised to see it cut back to Stonebridge park instead of up to Harrow and Wealdstone probably to free up a certain number of units required daily

    That is the plan yes. They struggling to get the daily requirement of 197s elsewhere so freeing up the two off this line will be a great help. So far the modifications have proven to work.pretty well

    I think k they south side will get busier with the metro stop outside plus they probably trying to get more people to use it to ease congestion on the north side.
