Hopefully tfw will plug the 2 hour gaps on the swanline services to give a full hourly service between Cardiff and. Swansea maybe even a Sunday service

Hasn't there been proposals to extend the wires from just north of shepherd's bush down to olympia for switchover from dc too overhead could be done on the flat rather than an incline
I think the Coryton line does need more than 1 passing loop especially at heath low level to allow services to wait out of the way of the main Rhymney line
Same here hate driving services on bonfire night or new years eve try to book them off because I've been startled a few times.

Lately some of the delays and issues have not been the fault of the 230s but rather the class 197s or infrastructure issues.

I can see the government stumping up for the bare minimum of trains and I won't be surprised to see it cut back to Stonebridge park instead of up to Harrow and Wealdstone probably to free up a certain number of units required daily
That is the plan yes. They struggling to get the daily requirement of 197s elsewhere so freeing up the two off this line will be a great help.
So far the modifications have proven to work.pretty well

Those new machines are springing up everywhere on a lot of the tfw Network. The ones at Swansea also allow you to pay for car parking in the 24 hr multistorey next to the stn
I think k they south side will get busier with the metro stop outside plus they probably trying to get more people to use it to ease congestion on the north side.
