    As others have said its irrevlent for the GN, as 387s are only allowed to do 100mph on the ECML, I always blame the Devils Knitting... So the speeds for a 387 timed train, which I don't think are any different to a 700, wouldn't change. It will be, at least, the same amount of 387s to SN that...

    It's not Indeed! So who knows, SWR could actually force in DCO if they want. Just need to make sure the lighting at stations is suitable for DOO Equipment etc.

    The ETCS system on the TfW158s needs a big overhaul to get it to the latest versions. Also I don't think EMR will encounter the "Signals-Away" area of ERTMS until 158s are long gone!

    Because, in the peak these go through to Welwyn Garden City. Blackfriars allows odd peak connections via the TL Core. If you want Victoria there's SE or change!
