    Unique Suffixes

Blackpool PB is a tricky one. Prior to somewhere around 2007, that was the park's name, but it's since been renamed "Pleasure Beach Blackpool," just to confuse everyone.

    Lineside Signs

I've been playing about with LU routes on BVE and there have been a few signs I've seen that I don't get. I don't know much about this sort of stuff and Google isn't much help. I'd like to know what the following things are all about: Blue numbered signs. I've guessed that they're carriage...

    AS Railcard

I have AS and I can do life normally. Socially, I find things a little more difficult than some others but I can cope with most situations fine. I don't need a railcard for that (or a bus pass for that matter). Glad there isn't one. Besides, I've got a 16-25 railcard already.

Which rail service do you use the most?

    Why so few posts?

Cheers guys. :D I've actually learned quite a lot about British railways just from reading the forum.

    Why so few posts?

I really joined this forum to resolve a ticket based question, because I didn't trust the TOCs to email me back with a decent answer and you guys seemed to know your stuff very well. Anyway, I like trains, but I don't know very much about them compared to most of the members here so I don't feel...

Oops, sorry I meant to say northern as in north england (northern do call there, but it's ATW). If you want the answer now, highlight the text below. runcorn east

    Pacer's or Roof???

Actually, I think the roof could probably be a fun experience. Out of the ordinary and a bit wacky. I wouldn't mind a go on that for the experience. Pacers are mundane, but more safe. So I'd choose pacer in general, but I want a go on the roof of a train.

Tutbury and Hatton is correct. As for the other, think northern.
