Sorry if I have opened a can of worms here but the point I was trying to make was that the linesiders had got their shots and in that scenario what I have always done is hide behind a bush or tree so that the guys not lineside can then get a clean shot without me and my orange vest in the way.Re...
Now i have been a linesider and have always tried to take advantage iof the access to trackside without getting in the way of other photographers shooting from "Behind the fences",but Saturday at the GCR gala it was like a sea of orange hi vis everywhere you looked and for non linesiders a case...
I do 35K miles a year and average close to 60MPG by never driving above 70MPH,due to the way company car mileage is calculated I make money on this as do many others so why would we want to do 80 on a regualr basis.
However if running late it would be nice to have the option
Northernmost Worcestershire where I was born and is now part of the West Midlands does not have a slight Brummie accent it has a slight Black Country accent,there is a major difference
TV is crapmost of he time so its often get the MP3 player on and surf the forumd,more importantly I have met up with fellow rail photiographers through this and other sites and had some really good days out
At that price I assume you are willing to consider second hand so can I thoroughly recommend a Canon 710IS 7 megapixels a 35-210 zoom and I got one off ebay for £70
