Congrats. Junior Driver jobs for Newport have been canned recently as the location is no longer suitable.
Port Talbot will be the only location in South Wales to offer them, for info on those waiting.
Hi mate.
The interview will ask you about times you've used effective communication skills, probably when you've dealt with a critical incident and when you've had to work alone.
Llanwern is still quite busy. Depends where you go. DB have guys in the exchange yard and slab mills who work...
Training wage now £23800 I think. Course is 9 weeks classroom followed by approx 6 months of handling and route learning before qualifying. Although on full pay you are then classed as a post qualified driver with more ride alongs and downloads from managers for around 2 years.
Yeah! Especially as the lads I put as references havent been contacted!
Is anyone else returning their rail warrant? I doubt im going to use it but doesnt say where to return it to.
Hoping to meet a few of you Sunday evening in the bar.
When I had my DM interview they asked my availability for a mid February course if the Jan one was full. Keep your fingers crossed that this is still on!
Nice one guys I bet its a massive relief to get to the finishline!
Im still waiting a DM interview. I got a 'we'll be in touch' email last week but unless it progresses very quickly in the next week I fear time's running out for the Jan start.
