Camp Hill line, given it's only used by express XC services and I have never had a need to go south with them, I've sadly never used it. Given first stop is Cheltenham Spa, quite a long journey to do just for the track.

There's lots of lines being mentioned, but with no indication of distance...

At one time I had done the entire Scottish Network, but the sods keep opening lines, closest that i haven't done is probably the Larkhall Branch, with the Anniesland branch and Cowlairs curve a close second/third, keep meaning to set aside a day and catch up with the bits and pieces that I have not traveled over (Borders line and Alloa as well)

The nearest for me would probably be Reading - Basingstoke. I’ve done Westbury/Swindon - Paddington and Salisbury - Waterloo many times but have never needed to use that line. To be honest, I also haven’t used many of the Thames Valley branches, but plan to in the future!

The Blyth and Tyne is about 400 yards away from my house!

Passenger lines? Probably Middlesbrough-Saltburn.

Livingston South to Fauldhouse - I've had to get off at both stations but never done the line inbetween
or
Bathgate to Drumgelloch as well, not been on that line since it reopened.

The curve between Dr Days Jn and North Somerset Jn. I've never had reason to go on the one-a-day which uses it to avoid Temple Meads. I was on a CrossCountry once which, due to engineering works, was supposed to leave Temple Meads, stop at North Somerset Jn, then reverse to head towards Parkway, but in the end it just went the normal way which was a shame!

Dingwall to Kyle and Georgmas junction to wick in scotland are only sections with passenger services to do .Nearest in England would be Middlesbrough to Saltburn

The nearest line that I haven't travelled on is the Hertford loop (nearest point 11 miles away), otherwise I've been on every line including branches within Zones 1-6 north of the Thames and most of the lines south of the river. The next nearest virgin track would probably be the Reigate and Tonbridge lines from Redhill.

Same here, definitely never been north of Harrow and Wealdstone on the DC lines. H&W is 7 miles away from me
I did the entire LM DC line from Queens Park to Watford Junction in the '60s travelling on a (half) twin rover on the Bakerloo line.

Formerly Leeds-York via Harrogate; now probably between Folkestone Central and Dover Priory.

There are a couple West Midland Trains service which go that way, one which springs to mind is the Saturdays Only 15:44 Worcester Shrub Hill - Birmingham New Street service.

Nearest is still Ockendon - Grays, 18 miles or so away (did Upminster - Ockendon years ago on a NSE Network Day but had to turn back as we were running late).

Next would be the Walton-on-the-Naze branch (about 40 miles in a straight line, 50 by road). Until about 6 weeks ago it was Southbury-Cheshunt (about 30 miles away), and then the Hertford East Branch (about 40).

I've been on the whole of the Merseyrail network except the Northern Line branch to Kirkby from where you change to a Northern service to Wigan.

Kirkby is only about 9 miles from home, but fortunately I've never had any reason, or inclination, to go there!

I'm going to assume Stoke to Leek and Rudyard Lake don't count.

I think it's the line out of Wrexham Central but I'm not getting a ruler out to check.

I haven't been on the Barton line which is only across the Humber (though I've never needed to go to south Humberside - everything I need is up north )

Im glad you said that, since I had forgotten about that one. So its the same answer for me too. Ive done everything else in the south west unless you count Okehampton

The closest (as the crow flies) line that I've never travelled over would be the Far North, with Tain probably being the closest station. A situation I should feel rather embarrassed about, considering that I've lived here for most of my life.

Either Staines to Windsor & Eaton Riverside or the line that formerly ran from Acton to Ruislip, now cut back to Greenford. Both about 10 miles away.

For lines in regular use, I think it's the short section through Birkbeck (London Bridge - Beckenham Junction) which is about 3.5 miles from me, but I've done the other lines around Beckenham.

Closer to me is the third side of the Hither Green triangle which has been used by passenger trains in the last year or so.

I've never been on the line between Ely and Bury St Edmunds despite the curve through Newmarket passing a few hundred metres from my house. I regularly go to both places but never need to go between them.

If only Newmarket West Curve was reinstated then there would be a direct rail route to Ely and stops further north.
