Two 175s are in the new livery at the moment.
yes, 107 and 003 which have been since October 2018. I believe 002 will be the third (but first to be painted rather than wrapped, and the first with the TfW spec interior refurb)

Who else is looking forward to both 153-325 and 175-002 coming out of works...? I believe they'll be the first two units with the TfW spec interior, and the former will be the first ever PRM modified 153 :)

Do we know what the budget is per carriage for the 175 refurbs?

There’s a unit coming off of Ditton depot on Sunday night between 1900-0200. Special turn for a Chester driver.

I’m assuming it’s the first painted 175 if anyone’s interested. Don’t know the number.

Great info, thanks a lot for that! Hopefully someone who can be there then knows about it and captures it :) and that would be 175-002, which should also have the first TfW spec interior (153-325 is getting one and the livery too along with the first ever PRM mods on a 153, at Long Marston, but that's looking like it will be out after the 175)

Not yet seen a 175 in the new livery, despite living close to Manchester. How many have been done? Saw a reliveried 158 on the Llandudno - MIA service.

two wrapped, 175003 and 175107, and one in Widnes and exam, paint and refurb

Simple, smart, neat, professional..nice, although i would like the black to continue to the coach ends. This is a railway, not an art gallery. Wish some other TOCs would take note.

what has the black not continuing to the coach ends got to do with it being a railway not an art gallery...?

Did this happen to run?

I dont think it did. It was 002 and that’s still there. I’m just gonna stop posting things about future moves I’ve been told about because they never happen!!

Was it not a pendo? That’s usually due off early in the week every 2nd week. And it was due off.

No, a TfW driver was sent up to take a unit off late on Sunday. But I don’t think it happened in the end.

The 175 was sticking out of Ditton this morning. Fully repainted so maybe time to head back to Chester?

do you have any photographic proof...?
I travelled on 150 241 last week from Cardiff central on a valleys line service and I can categorically say it IS PRM modified - I sat in one of the now single seats opposite the enlarged accessible toilet and saw and heard the compliant passenger information in action and the modified buttons. I have no photo, so people just have to trust my observations.

Seems odd to ask for photographic proof, another blatantly obvious way is to look for the plated over toilet window.

I've taken to checking the destination blind when the unit rolls in to see if I've got the delights of a PRM unit. If it's an old fashioned scroll, it's not PRM.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll put it on the list out of trust as I've not seen 241 in person with PRM mods. I know all the telltale signs including the ones you guys didn't mention, just simply haven't yet seen it in person, hence my "odd" request for photos! I need to get back to Cardiff I reckon :p
