In case you missed the last 3 and half years, we're about to cut ourselves off from all that gubbins and forget about them all

Yeah, I already discussed that:

Everyone else uses km. Our political masters keep telling us that we are about to become 'Global Britain'. So why not join the rest of the world in using the same measurement system?

If you're going down that route, Ireland is even more of an expense - left hand drive and km/h.
(I assume you meant right-hand drive/left-hand traffic.)

Along with Cyprus, Malta, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong...

Most of which are small markets for cars made in European factories.

Ladies and Gentleman's bits were the last thing to convert from inches, silly when you think that imperial was human based and we are measuring humans.

Lookaway now and I will say williy and boobies, now why did we use hands for horse measure

Are Hackney Carriages (black cabs) used anywhere else?
The vehicle design is, but I don't think they're necessarily black.

Because we were talking about the UK being a pain for car manufacturers
But you were the one who brought other countries into the discussion...
- not many of our cars come from Asia,
About 15% of car imports come from Asia. Mainly from Japan and South Korea.
in much the same way as not many cars sold in Japan are made in Europe.
About 1 in 30 UK-manufactured cars were exported to Japan in 2018. More than are exported to Spain. In total, exports to Asia account for about 1 in 7 of every car manufactured in the UK.

'Not many...'

The UK is in Europe. The UK is not Europe.
Er, yeah. Did anyone suggest anything different? If one country in Europe is exporting to Japan 1 in every 30 cars manufactured, how many are the other countries exporting to Japan?

Of just over 548,000 new vehicles registered in Japan in the year to September 2019, only around 41,000 were imported
Then the UK-manufactured cars must be very popular, as the SMMT says that in 2018 40,830 UK-manufactured cars were exported to Japan. Are we really going to believe that no other European cars were exported to Japan.

I stand by my statement.
Jolly good.

Jolly good.
I assume that these are Japanese badged cars built here but sent to Japan?
I’m not sure how many Audis, VWs etc are sold in Japan. Does anyone know?

You found stats that back up your position, I've found stats that back up mine so let's just leave it at that.

Baku , Azerbaijan i think has them. Not all cities i the UK do , Aberdeen for example/
I don't know if there are still any black cabs in the Aberdeen fleet these days, but there used to be quite a few TXs. Even my local town of Elgin had a slightly elderly Fairway and a couple of Metrocabs at one point - lovely vehicles for a 7 mile rural trip!

Last time i was in Aberdeen , the taxis were white . Still metrocabs in Edinburgh but not any FX4s unlike Glasgow

Nuts. Or to be precise, not handing them out as freebies like they do overseas. In just about every bar have been in abroad they give you free salted nuts and resins (raisins, correctly spelled this time...!). Obviously to make you thirsty, but not many bars do that here. We have to buy a tiny packet instead. Taken for mugs on that one!

Well, I think resin would probably make you pretty thirsty; but don't reckon that it often turns up as food for humans, at least in Europe... (I usually refrain from nitpicking re spelling / typos -- but in this case, couldn't resist: sorry !)
