    Thameslink Sutton to Bedford direct

Those services only run late at night to facilitate trains / crew going to the depot at Bedford.

    Been officially announced now

    Cologne to Dusseldorf

Thanks. If we knew of this possibility we would probably have flown back from Cologne instead. It looks like the National Express services are listed as running but may be disrupted.

    London Victoria (Southern) disruption

That is not an advertised connection though. I know people might use that but there is the TL train not far back or just take the East Grinstead service to Sanderstead

    Cologne to Dusseldorf

Hello, I'm travelling from Cologne to Dusseldorf Airport on Sunday 26th November and have noticed other threads talking about the potential for the German train drivers' Union (GDL) to strike whilst they are in negotiations (for which the first round apparently did not go well but they will...

    German Rail in decline ?

How much notice do their unions have to give? I'm over there in a couple of weeks. Would it affect the non-DB operated trains too?

TfL considering Sydenham corridor AM improvement

It's because there's an extra TL train from East Grinstead at peak times that runs in the slot used for those trains to stop at NWD if that makes sense.

    Victoria Line 02/10/23

I mean that bit has lights on and feels a bit bumpy so maybe permanent? I thought it was just a track defect though.

    German Rail in decline ?

Not sure if mentioned earlier in the thread but it's noticeable how much less reliable the German trains are on both seasons of "Tag Across Europe" on the YouTube channel Jet Lag: The Game when compared with France especially. Feels like it's similar to over here tbh!

Southern, Thameslink & Great Northern 'Not On Strike' Details

I think it's only ones that got built with them. Same with the 12 car ones

Southern, Thameslink & Great Northern 'Not On Strike' Details

One oddity of this timetable is that the East Grinstead line is getting a better off-peak service every half hour rather than the usual hourly one. Though why they don't use that resource to improve peak time Redhill services is beyond me...

GWR Didcot Stoppers no longer calling at Ealing Bdy?

Even if there were to be a consultation the change would have been seen as an improvement for most passengers as Maidenhead / Twyford now get a much faster direct service to London all day and stations up to Maidenhead get much longer trains and the direct access to the central Elizabeth Line...

    Pride liveried units

There are a couple of "trainbows" in SE England though these aren't complete wraps: Thameslink 700155 Southeastern (I think 395012)

    ASLEF overtime ban impact

I think GTR are short of drivers full stop as they even get cancellations due to train crew shortages when overtime is allowed, especially during school holidays.

    Class 700 reliability

Ah that makes sense. I've seen that TL have temporarily withdrawn the Littlehampton service (which is transferring to Southern in May anyway) and have withdrawn one East Grinstead peak service (which is being covered by Southern to/from London Bridge) until early May.

    May 2023 changes

Will there be formation cuts as a result of this and the 313 withdrawal? I know some Oxted line services got reduced to 8 car but had 12 car restored again recently. I hope those don't get reduced again!

    Class 700 reliability

Hi all, I'm not sure if there is a similar thread here but I've had a look through the last month or so but haven't seen one. I've noticed that Thameslink seem to be cancelling quite a few services due to "more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time" - this seems to have been going...

    London Tramlink feeder routes

I think also 64 and 314 had the same arrangement.
