Thanks. That's surprising as the person in the ticket office, who has worked there for at least 20 years that I know of, said there were limited numbers. Is there something I can show to prove otherwise?

I'm assuming for this discussion that I had a some kind of flexible ticket but not a reservation for that train.

Not planned for now, but what would happen if I tried to board the Caledonian Sleeper at an unmanned station without a seat reservation and the train was fully booked? Would I be allowed to board?
