Fare Dodgers UK: At war with the law documentary

Probably due to post moderation "today" can be any day in the past weeks.

    Bylaws and disabled areas

Indeed. Byelaws prosecutuon for smoking? It's absolutely normal for staff to turn a blind eye. Once I saw someone blantantly smoking in the Birmingham New Street platform and reported that to a member staff standing on the same platform. What he did? Absolutely nothing.

Class 150 replaces 175 (Arriva Trains Wales)

Surely not the first and not the last 150 on that service. I remember once taking last 175 Manchester to Cardiff Central service of the day and then at Shrewsbury all remaining passengers were asked to change to 150. And 15 minutes after train departed and were running its full possible speed...

    Non-UK resident - penalty fares?

On my very first time of using a train in Poland, I confused types of tickets and got to TLK train instead of Regio. Lady who was doing ticket check was extremely unhappy with that fact and my basic Polish wasn't helping much with explanation, so she wasn't asking anything apart from telling...

I took screenshot from National Rail app, which supposedly should receive information from the same source. You mentioned that journey was on 16th of September (which was Saturday), and it means that booking office was open until 14:10. If the journey happened indeed after that time and station...

Wolverhampton University student at centre of £600k rail ticket racket...

But can someone sell 600K worth of tickets? On the forum sometimes appear posts with tickets on eBay , but I highly doubt that one individual without a network of accomplices can do so much, even in 13 months time span.

    Merseytravel Saveaway question

Sounds quite good. As usual off-peak day return from Runcorn to Lime street is around £6.40 and Runcorn to South Parkway is £4.50. So for additional 3-something pounds on top of usual return ticket, you can get your return and unlimited zonal travel on Merseyrail network and buses.

    Merseytravel Saveaway question

Just a theoretical question, as I cant quite understand how Virgin fits into the picture -- only Virgin route inside Saveaway zone would be Lime Street to Runcorn (which is outside Saveaway Zone) with no actual stops inside the zone -- does that mean that Station A to Runcorn plus All Zone...
