Almost. Part of the training to be a bus driver is the years of experience you have on the road already, with the bus specific training a more focused subset/specialisation, which not everyone would be good at.

Having been on GTR training for a couple of months now, I can tell you that details are very much up in the air about existing drivers moving, when depots are opening, and all that jazz, so I'm quite impressed they're at least remembering you're in the system and keeping your hopes alive :)...

Thanks for the response. Is the email these guys send one that sends them to a 'form to fill out' kind've response, or do they request a letter to be typed up? Just wanting to let my referees know what they're in for.

I definitely wouldn't agree there, on my testing day the GBT eliminated 4 people straight away, and only 1 more went later in the day. It may not be the most 'difficult' in the type of task it is, but it's the easiest to fail if you're a bit too slow being overly accurate. The one with GTR...
