Quickly? It lasted almost 2 years… (May 2018 to February 2020)

I’m not sure they are still talking with the council as the changes have already been registered for May 13th! There is a separate registration for the 39B solely, which may be the remainder of the evening and Sunday journeys.

Angus Council have released "proposed" timetables (which have already been received by the Traffic Commissioner...) for the Angus area from May 13th: https://www.angus.gov.uk/proposed_timetables_for_bus_journeys_within_angus However going by this article, Angus Council are on the naughty step...

If the changes are on April 29th then the changes would need to be registered with the Traffic Commissioner by... tomorrow? Looks like 2 less PVR at Arbroath (relating to the X7) and 1 less PVR at Forfar (relating to the existing short 21As)

    Stagecoach East Scotland

The X7 has never been half hourly on the section that is proposed to be cut, unless you’re referring to when the X8 operated (which was back in 2017), and demand for travel between the two cities has diminished considerably since then.

Nothing to do with "liking to go back and forth", the Interdecks cannot be used anywhere else. It is all dependent on vehicle availability - Arbroath have 9 coaches for a PVR of 8 ,so if there are more than 2 off the road (whether that be official VORs or routine maintenance) you will see...

Second phase of Scottish Zero Emission Bus (ScotZEB) announced

Was there not some sort of criteria with ScotZEB2 where any bids submitted had to cater for the carrying of bikes on the buses? Perhaps that is related to the high failure rate?

    Xplore Dundee

20% increase across the whole year maybe? It increased to every 90 minutes mid way through 2022, I’m not sure when the “missing” night journey was added

    Bright Bus Airport Express service

Out of the 10 that have been reported as repainted into the Bright Bus livery, only 8481 and 8487 are not Euro 6

    Bright Bus Airport Express service

I thought concessionary reimbursement rates were all based on the equivalent adult single fare? Hence why operators receive 43.6% of the fare made by 5 to 15 year olds and 81.2% for journeys made by those aged 16 to 21.

McGill's Scotland East (Midland Bluebird and Eastern Scottish)

The Airlink 100, according to the timetable, takes no more than 35 minutes to get from South St David Street to Edinburgh Airport no matter what time of day it is. Surely that makes the Airlink timetable totally unworkable too? Presumably the luggage racks which have been retrofitted to the...

McGill's Scotland East (Midland Bluebird and Eastern Scottish)

Looking at the journey cancellation page on the McGill's Scotland East website, I'm surprised it was worthwhile opening the gates to Livingston depot today. Oh wait, that would've meant that FlixBus and Bright Bus wouldn't've been able to operate. Never mind...

Yes, the enhanced network being introduced by Lothian is by far from the ideal response, but given their restricted resources I feel it is the best offering they could bring to the table at the present time. After all, they were under no obligation to provide replacement services for the endless...
