I know the air con after has a bad reputation but I was on 197119 earlier today. It was packed (standing room only) when I got on, on a really hot day and it was really cool inside

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the £100m for phase 1a of Cardiff Crossrail includes them buying additional 398s. I'll see if I can find it

I wonder with the tram stop is it seen as a temporary solution because there'll ne the ability to integrate it properly if crossrail is extended to the west (I appreciate that's a big if)

Thanks for your summarise. Really helpful. As an Ebbw line user, it will be great to have platform 0 properly integrated. It occurred to me though, if the Crossrail stop is not properly integrated at the south entrance, will it cause the same problems we currently see at platform 0 with PAYG?
