I start at Signalling school in February, I started work at the beginning of November and I’m currently covering as a crossing keeper. Loving the job and there’s a lot of good eggs here too!

Hey guys, I was recently informed that I was successful in my application and offered the role. It’s still sinking in but I’m completely over the moon about it. Currently I am awaiting an email from HR and hopefully an official start date for Signalling school.

Ok so it sounds like your score on the SJT is not as high as others who’ve applied even though you’ve reached the required benchmark. Just hang in there and keep at it mate. I’ve got my fingers crossed for you.

Just got back from my interview in Leicester, I think it went ok. I did all the reading, NTS and learnt the Safety vision section but it always boils down to how you perform on the day. I always feel like I bumbling in interviews but put that down to nerves no matter how much I prepare.

Thanks for the pointers, I'll brush up on these as best as I can.....not my strong point as the questions can be misinterpreted/mind goes blank due to nerves. I've applied for the Oakham relief signallers role and was wondering what size area I'd potentially be covering?

Hi everyone, I've been lurking in the background reading posts etc on the Signallers role and gaining helpful hints and pointers which has led me to being invited for an interview. I'm assuming its best to read up on the 7 Non-technical parts? Is there anything else I need to brush up on? Cheers
