You've made it clear how you feel about OAO, why not just leave it at that? lots of assumptions though in your post. You said you dont care about OA and you dont want to work there, thats great... means people who do actually want to work there get a job. Why not let them make their own mind...

Not everyone wants to work for a TOC, you're right you CAN'T say its going to be fantastic because you dont know anything about them. No one other than the handful working for them can comment here. This mighty TOC vs OAO underdog attitude is getting really boring. Compare this to airline...

Disagree with you totally... now is the time! OAO can pick up the slack with some of the cut backs by franchise. We're still not fully out of the woods yet and the railway is coming back quite nicely with the leisure market. if its anything like First groups new OAO the paths were applied for...

Not unless you're price savvy! if LNER is £100 for example, and East Coast is £30-50 there will be those that will travel then, especially as East Coast is aimed at the leisure market where people are more flexible with their time.

Exactly! Personally I think OAOs will become more popular in the future, if you get it right there's a lot of money to be made in OA. I think there will be some big changes on the ex Franchised side of things too, maybe some reduced frequencies with OAO services used to fill the gaps.
