    Selling tickets - an offence?

I'm sure that is the crux of the matter, but it would be interesting to argue the point.

    March 2019 Oyster Extensions Confirmed

Not that. Cast your mind back further and at one point in time LO accepted oyster there but LM did not. That was subsequently resolved. For the record I have boarded a VT service to auston at WFJ and noone attempted to stop me.

    Split Tickets and Delay Repay

The two things are different though. The right to a refund is backed up by consumer law. Entitlement to delay repay is not, and relies on passenger charters etc, albeit that some franchise agreements may stipulate it (I havent checked). Naturally I much prefer your interpretation, but I dont...

    Split Tickets and Delay Repay

I'm not comfortable that the entitlement is for all tickets to be refunded. Imagine ticket A costs £10 and its train is on time. Ticket B costs £100 and is 6 mins late. Ticket C is then a £2 from a big station to the first stop on a line with an hourly service. I'm aware that a number of...

    March 2019 Oyster Extensions Confirmed

isnt the service at Watton at stone supposed to all-but stop in May? Plus going as far as Stevenage would prompt the thorny question of whether LNER ought to be included.

    Cross Humber Fares?

Regarding bus acceptance of rail tickets, are these the only buses shown in the eNRT (table 28 in this case) on which the rail ticket is not valid? I know tilbury ferry is a similar example.

    Cross Humber Fares?

Can anyone get the £10.10 fare Cottingham to cleethorpes to appear in any booking engines, please? Or indeed the £9.70 cottingham to grimsby?

    Cross Humber Fares?

Could it be that 'Humberlink not bus' is a contraction for something like 'humberlink not via Doncaster but by bus's perhaps? Does anyone have any report of these tickets being accepted or declined on a stagecoach bus?

Scrap Senior Railcards & Use Bus Passes?

I wonder if you might submit this suggestion to the author of the FAQ section on discounts http://www.railforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=68553

Are guards meant to be impartial points of sale?

My own guess would be no but interested to hear the views of others. Surprised the guard didn't want to up his commission though.

    Online oyster pickup improvements

But that isnt online EFTpos in the traditional sense, as the card numbers simply get added to a database to allow processing of the capped daily total amount overnight.

    Leeds-Ilkley

Is a kirkstall forge to ilkley valid via shipley? I would expect it would be. Indeed, is shipley to ilkley (or apperley bridge to ilkley) valid via kirkstall forge?

Purchasing a meal in Virgin 1st class on a std class ticket

Likewise. Is there anywhere in the UK where its poasible to sit in a dining car when one purchases food? I suspect none.

England-Scotland Travel when only a BH in one country

Does BR fares really add such a unilateral statement? I'd be surprised if it did.

F&F railcard used with annual season ticket

Are we happy that this also includes a subset of the route covered by the ticket?

    Possible update to BRfares.com

Seconded. And amazing to think it's the only site that does what it does (with all others working on train first, then tickets)

    ITSO Travel Passes

Yes, though I think you've kind of missed my point, which was that currently northern rail staff do a visual check of these passes, which includes comparing the number on the itso card with the number on the counterpart.
