You can view your train here. As you can see it doesn't split anywhere, and should be formed of a 3 or 6 car 159, although I'm not sure which one.

That one splits at Salisbury, front 3 Exeter and rear 3 Bristol.

I have just done a check and it is possible to travel direct from Waterloo to Westbury so the train has to split.

Thank you very much everybody so this train could be very busy on departure from Salisbury in the front 3

Possibly but it's not likely to be honest that route is fairly quiet beyond Salisbury out side of the peak times.

CWNs from May 2013 reckon it leaves Waterloo as a 9 car on Saturdays, with front 6 to Exeter and rear 3 to Bristol. (Just add a new twist...) :D

A pair of 3 cars as far as Salsibury would be right for a weekday though...

I was on the 0830 EXC-WAT on a Saturday which was 6 from Exeter and 9 from Salisbury. Coming back on the Sunday 1815 from WAT it was front 6 Exeter and rear 3 Bristol (which the PIS didn't like and so was switched off until Salisbury)

Thank you all very much for your info didn't really fancy standing from waterloo to yeovil on a cramped train :p
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
As posted above the service started with 9 coaches split at Salisbury 1 part to Bristol the other to Exeter on the return it arrived as a 6 carriage train and had 3 removed again at Salisbury which made it very busy

Just noticed this thread. Looks like they even gave you a top driver from Salisbury to Yeovil... ;)

I think I've found a resounding 'no' to this question during a quick trawl of the web: Are there (public) power sockets on the 159's?
