The allocations thread have the 68's working 1721 Marylebone to Banbury, however anytime going forward in RTT the 1721 seems to terminate at Bicester North Monday to Thursday and only runs through to Banbury Friday?

Is this accurate? Will it still be a Class 68?

The attached image provides the rationale for the changes - it's all to do with the new stabling location at Banbury.

Much as I'm sure Banbury passengers won't be very happy (though Bicester North ones most probably will be very happy!) I do applaud Chiltern for treating their passengers like they are proper grown-ups and explaining the rationale for changes in detail. More TOCs should do this rather than hiding behind "operational reasons" and the likes. Most commendable.

Probably not many Banbury passengers used it anyway, the 1721 was fairly slow so I suspect most would use either the 1715 or 1747.

1715 - 1807
1721 - 1840
1747 - 1847

Still plenty on it when it leaves Bicester. Certainly around 40-50 in front coach and rest of train similar. Many get on at Wycombe.
