What's the tram that used to work on that diagram doing instead?

The up working is booked HST Mon - Sat from the new timetable.

The down working is booked MK4 Mon - Fri and Sun, on Saturdays it's booked HST.

Last Thursday was a last minute swap due to problems at Ardesley earlier in the day - 91108 was the loco that worked 1D45.

91108??? unless you know of a previous event before the OP.

Crossforth is on about 11 March 1989 as stated when 91008 became the 1st 91 to work to Leeds:

91008 did 1D32 0650 Kings X-Leeds/1A12 1000 Leeds-Kings X with HST mark 3's and 43068 acting as a DVT

Had a look on NRE and the down Skipton still won't be calling at Shipley in the new book. Any ideas why, since the up working does good business there?

i believe its due to platform lengths?

i get mixed up with up and down, is the down direction towards skipton?

cos that platform is not as long as the other one.

Indeed, the up platform where the up working calls in the morning is shorter than the 1979 platform on the down side. So that can't be it.

However there's more spare track between the junction and the platform - going towards skipton the train can't clear the 1st junction without blocking the second. Not a huge problem if its in motion but blocks anything going if it stops.

Got the KGX - Bradford service to Shipley on Thursday and then a local to make sure I got home in time to vote otherwide I'd have probably been on the 91.
