Just heard Fire Brigade called to a 377 which caught fire on arrival at Redhill (forming 07:04 Victoria from Redhill 1C 51). Anyone know what has happened

Was it much smoke?
Don't know, I have been on an HST which had an emergency brake application due to a Pass-Com. I looked out to see the rear of the train obscured by smoke, went back to assist and the rear coach was full of smoke. It cleared very quickly once train stopped. But took a while to get going as loads of Pass-Coms had been pulled. Eventually we found one had been pulled in a toilet as well.

Coach apparently had flashing yellow lights and filled with smoke. Anyway all clear now
