66723 + 66726 are doing some kind of railtour for First staff today.

Pretty much all over apart from the 1842 Stockport to Buxton arriving at 2100.
Started at Warrington at 1241 and arrived at Crewe for 1322. Departed Crewe at 1446, stopped at Stockport at 1616 and carried on to Buxton, arriving at 1655. Passengers were given an hour to stretch their legs and the train left again to go to Stockport.

It will be arriving into Stockport at 1840, departing 2 minutes later and then returning to Buxton for the night at 2100 :)

A few (phone) pictures can be found here

Cheers! They're actually much better than that, but they get resized and put on Fotopic, which as you can imagine, doesn't do wonders for the quality lol :)

Thanks :) Like I say though, the pictures are much better quality than that.

I've never seen a GBRf loco at Buxton! Quite unusual for us to get anything besides 150s, 156s and the odd 66 with weedkillers!
We had the "Blue Pullman" (47 hauled) a few months back, and in September, there will be a railtour (The Buxton Forester) spending an hour in Buxton. Which should bring us 40145 and a 37 :D

That will be a WCRC 37/0

Yep, that’s the one. Am booked on this tour - should be excellent. Its Birmingham Int > Manchester Picc > Buxton (1hr break) > Leeds > Bradford > Morecambe > Preston > Manchester Picc > Birmingham Int. 40145 and 37/0 are taking turns in hauling the tour, as it will be top and tailed.
