The vinyls are applied at Bletchley TMD or Northampton EMD as far as I'm awareThanks Mark.
General question - are the LNWR vinyls applied in a different location to what goes on at Long Marston?
Yeah, that's what I had in mind as being the case. Thanks for confirmingThe vinyls are applied at Bletchley TMD or Northampton EMD as far as I'm aware
And 106 AFAIKVinyls applied at Bletchley TMD, one in one out per week....
350114 currently on depot having the treatment
Still to be done are.... 108/110/118/119/121/124/126/128
350113 is today on the Birmingham new Street to London euston services.I make it there are two still to go - 350113 & 350127. That was the point of my post. So still over five weeks to go before the final one in LM livery goes for refurbishment.
On the basis that one unit is exchanged at Long Marston every three weeks, this Saturday (10/7) will see one of these two head there. Also on a another lnwr service with the old London Midlands livery and lnwr branding is 350127 and 350104.
Ie milton Keynes to London euston.
More after the grid 56081 on the eastleigh move.
However within 10 minutes both still to be done both 350113 and 350127 have been observed in old livery still.
Confirmed passed right now at 1220 through bromsgrove on time.350113 on way to Long Marston, 37611 doing the honours.
Should return with 350109. That leaves 350127 to be done.

Finally, nine weeks after the last one, a 37! Here they are at Selly Oak.350113 on way to Long Marston, 37611 doing the honours.
Should return with 350109. That leaves 350127 to be done.

I don't believe there is. Pretty much all of the ROG locos were at Derby RTC this morningAccording to my diary, today's the day for 350127 to go to Long Marston. An STP schedule exists for a 09:57 departure, but I can't see an inbound loco schedule to take it. Is there a ROG loco already stabled at Northampton?
Schedule now marked as 'Cancelled'.I don't believe there is. Pretty much all of the ROG locos were at Derby RTC this morning
Yes it will be this coming Monday.Schedule now marked as 'Cancelled'.
Perhaps it will run tomorrow, or more likely Monday.
350108 has now replaced 350110 and will be losing its unique livery AFAIK350124 was vinyled last week and replaced in the shed by 110 which has been completed today. (photo credit G.Baker)View attachment 100542

The 350/2s were corrosion-repaired before work started on the 350/1s. As they were newer than the /1s, the work at Long Marston didn't need to be as extensive - bearing in mind that the 350/1s were built in 2004 & 2005, their work at Long Marston was basically their midlife overhaul. By contrast, the /2s were built in 2008/2009, and they probably won't need an overhaul until 2024/2025 (a guesstimate). It's a shame that although the last (Angel Trains) 350/1 has gone to Long Marston, when it returns Porterbrook can't start sending their 37x scruffy 350/2s for debranding, paint & patching up rust ready for the next operator. Besides, I was under the impression that the work on the Angel Trains fleet was carried out at Porterbrooks depot ...Long Marston.
