I think that some contestants are a little unhappy with the last three regional area quizzes and a posting has already been made as such, so may I suggest that the following now applies:-

1) ... We return to a national version of the game as originally envisaged

2) ... Someone sends a PM to one of the accredited forum quizmasters, they being the ones who set up this quiz with its rules in the very first posting, to see if other organizations such as the Tyne and Wear Metro, Docklands Light Railway and all the better known light rail and urban tramways can now be added to the rules, to allow these to be used.

The rules, such as they were originally printed on the very first posting showed only National Rail and London Underground stations as being allowed, but if you now see the latest rules update on the first posting on the quiz, the matter that you raise above has now been addressed..

All,

I note a little bit of confusion and upset among a few that a couple of ideas have been batted around regarding staying in a particular area, region, country for an alphabet of stations. I have to say that whilst I have no objections if this is how you want to play it, it is completely voluntary among the individual players, if someone wishes to post a station which does not comply with the move, they may do so.

On the note of stations that are not on the National Rail network, such as Tyne and Wear Metro, LUL, the various Tramways, Heritage Rail etc... these are now allowed, however please do ensure that you cite which railway they are on when making the posting. (For example 'Holt - North Norfolk Railway'.)

I hope this helps the game develop further... I shall now adapt the posting on page one.
