Hi,

I am a frequent traveller between Stockport and Euston, I usually leave on the 0707 from Stockport on Monday and return on the 1820 on Friday.

I book my tickets in advance and noticed that Virgin hiked the price for the single advance ticket from Euston to Stockport from £22 to £37!

I am wondering , if by any chance, anyone interested in sharing two together rail card, which could slash the cost by 1/3 for both travellers, but we will need to travel together.

Any one?

Ehab

They're having a major sale upto 55% off from 9th March.

The £22 tickets will be £10 so the £37 tickets should be around £17

They put the price up on a few peak trains but most non peak trains still start at £22. Also other peak trains recently went down to starting at £37

Still, £37 for a journey of nearly 200 miles at peak time seems remarkable value.
