anyone know the purpose of this working?

Hello,

Spotted this on RTT last night when out photting, 66721 was light engine heading to Northfleet Lafarge from Derby adtranz, my question is why and what was it doing? Gad it just dropped off stock, been for maintanence or going to collect stuff from the scrapline??

Had previously been on the LUL Tube Stock moves (replaced by 20142 and (newly reinstated after 15+ years off the mainline) 20132).
Looks like it may have left on one of the two trains to Westbourne Park (from Norfthleet).

Are they empty spoil trains, in connection with Crossrail? Couldn't work it out when I first looked at it, but that'd make sense - and presumably this would simply have been a loco move in connection with that.

Next out will be 20118 soon, and it also (like 20132) is in Railfreight livery still . I'll be trying to catch them as well.

I don't know. I though there was just spoil workings from Paddington, but don't know that area very well.
