I was checking details for a visitor to my site and found this: http://www.brfares.com/#!fares?orig=CTN&dest=HRH

Look at the two single fares. What is the point of the off-peak one?

The CDR is set at a certain price and presumably as a rule that comes with a CDS that is 10p cheaper.

There are other examples where variants of Off Peak or even Super Off Peak singles have been set at higher rates than less restrictive SDS fares. People will buy them, but they ought not to.

The CDS should be abolished. CDS fares don’t exist on many flows precisely for this reason.

Guess this one’s just slipped through.
