Not sure about that, but I had a similar enquiry a year or so ago and was advised to contact "The Vintage Carriages Trust", Ingrow Railway Centre, Near Keighley.

E-mail; [email protected]

They were very helpful and I was able to get what I was looking for at a very good price.

The only shop I know that might is the Ian Allen Bookshop, on Lower Marsh a short walk from Ldn Waterloo

Ian Allan shops sell some reprints of Bradshaw timetables, but if you want old BR timetables, you will need to try second-hand dealers, stalls at preservation sites, or stands at some of the larger model railway exhibitions.

I'm not aware of any that do so specifically, and a lot of this sort of trade has moved online (e.g. a well known online auction site) but this sort of thing may turn up in charity shops and the like - my local (Berkshire) Oxfam book shop has a 'transport books and ephemera' section, and have seen occasional timetables, but guess it's a matter of chance what they get donated / bequeathed at any time.

Oxfam and some of the other big charities do now tend to try and shift anything 'specialist' online, either via their own website or the aforementioned auction site rather than wait for one of the few people that might be interested to wander in to the particular shop it's in.

Can I suggest, if you are in Central London, take a wander down Cecil Court. There are a number of specialist book shops there and the may be a chance to find old books/timetables there. This is also a bookseller called, I think "Motor Books", who specialise in all forms of transport literature.

Are there Ian Allen shops in Birmingham and London too? Certainly the shop in Waterloo is excellent for transport books etc.

Can I suggest Robert Humm?

Although not in London, but in the ex stationmaster's house at Stamford, they have an excellent selection of old railway books and timetables for sale via mail order.

Apologies for the diversion off-topic, but in response to this there's also an Ian Allan bookshop just down the approach ramp from Manchester Piccadilly.
