And coupled 158s also. Experienced a couple of weeks ago.Keep an eye out for them on Sundays too running up to Manchester usually strengthening 150s. (Any combo of 150+150, 150+153 and 150+153+153 have all been seen)
I noticed a 153/158 combo working the 1540 Ebbw Vale Parkway - Bridgend service which arrived into Bridgend on time at 17:02.
anthony263 said:It was however late crossing over onto the Maesteg branch to reverse as a bridge strike west of Bridgend had delayed the 16:28 Swansea - London Paddington service which eventually arrived into Bridgend at 17:06 and departed at 17:08
anthony263 said:Pity the Ebbw Vale services cannot be extended to Bridgend on weekdays calling at Pontyclun and Pencoed, however this would depend on paths available aand trains crossing over onto the Maesteg branch to reverse quickly and returning to Platform 2 at Bridgend within about 3-4 minutes
