Whichever side of the "is 47901 a 47?" argument you stood on, I decided it was probably best to red pen it anyway, especially as I only needed 12 at the time. Also, I was a sucker for a bit of 56 noise.

Probably OK to say this 36 years later, but the driver on 901 on the return really wanted to see how fast it would go. Some people claimed it nearly reached 100 but the quickest I clocked for a mile was 91. 901 was restricted to 75mph, I believe.
